The foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains situated minutes southwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada is home to the Bruketa family and J.B. Livestock Company.
Our family farming and ranching operation and present location was homesteaded by my great grandfather, Steve Bruketa Sr. in 1939. A natural transition considering that in Europe the Bruketa family roots were agricultural. My Grandfather, Steve Bruketa Jr., and father, David Bruketa have maintained the tradition and continue a lifelong dedication to the family farm.
I, Jason, and brother Jeff, represent the fourth generation.
We are proud of our families sixty-four year commitment to
agriculture and we look forward to continuing our own future
in agriculture specializing in the production of Fleckvieh/Simmental
seedstock.
